Finally! Seven years after their last album, Linkin Park is back — and
this time with a new lead singer! Honestly, when the single “The Emptiness Machine”
first came out, I was surprised at how well Emily Armstrong fits into such
an iconic band. Then the full album was released; I listened to it, liked it,
and bought the deluxe CD version. Don’t get me wrong, the album is awesome — a great
comeback after all these years. But after paying as much as 75 polish zlotys (about $21),
I was a little disappointed. I received the album in a small cardboard sleeve folded in half,
with the discs tucked into both halves and a booklet with the lyrics. For such an
important (and expensive) album by a band of Linkin Park’s caliber, this is pretty shoddy.
There’s a chance this is the publisher’s fault; if so, I apologize to you, Armstrong and company.

Nareszcie! Po 7 latach od ostatniego albumu Linkin Park powróciło
i tym razem z nową wokalistką! Szczerze, gdy po raz pierwszy ukazał
się singiel „The Emptiness Machine” byłem zaskoczony jak dobrze Emily Armstrong
pasuje do takiego kultowego zespołu. A wtedy wyszła pełna płyta, posłuchałem jej,
podobała mi się i kupiłem wersję deluxe na CD. Nie zrozumcie mnie źle, płyta
jest zajebista, świetny powrót do formy po latach przerwy. Ale po tym jak zapłaciłem
aż 75 złotych byłem trochę zawiedziony. Album dostałem w małej kartonowej owijce zamkniętej
w pół, z płytą schowaną w obu połówkach oraz książeczką z tekstami piosenek.
Jak na tak ważny (i drogi) album kapeli takiego kalibru jak Linkin Park, to
jest dość słabe. Jest szansa że to wina wydawcy, jeśli tak to przepraszam was
Armstrong i spółka. Przyjedźcie może kiedyś do polski!
